Pimpri Chinchwad Smart City pacts with SPPU to help start-ups

In a recent development, a start-up incubation center under the Pimpri Chinchwad Smart City Limited signed a pact with the Savitribai Phule Pune University's Center for Innovation, Incubation, and Enterprise to promote new industries.

An official from the start-up incubation center remarked that the pact will provide necessary support, guidance, and space for new budding entrepreneurs for the establishment of new industries and businesses. he further added on to say that every year thousands of young entrepreneurs explore chances for starting their own ventures, which will be fulfilled through this initiative of start incubation center. 

SPPU's innovation center will identify emerging entrepreneurs and formulate policies for them, providing counseling and technical help and assist them in contacting potential investors.

The start-up incubation center was established a year back under the Pune Smart City Limited. On the other hand, SPPU's CIIE will now assist it for program planning, skill development and capacity building.
