The Chief Minister said birth, marriage and death registrations should be made mandatory in the state as it would make the census work easier.
It was informed in the meeting that all fair price shops in the state would be automated and provided with Point of Sale Devices (POSD) to ensure transparency in Public Distribution System.
Khattar was also informed that there was a target to construct 1563 gram sachivalyas in the state by March 31, 2017.
So far, 627 gram sachivalyas have been made operational.
Also 200 villages would be equipped with the WiFi facility and would be declared as smart villages by November 1 this year, the statement said.
