Oxfordcaps becomes first student housing company to win award from North Delhi Municipal Corporation - Swachh Survekshan 2020

Oxfordcaps, Asia’s first branded and technology-enabled student housing community announced that its Roshanara Property in New Delhi was honored as a 1st Runner –up by North Delhi Municipal Corporation under Swachh Survekshan 2020. The company is first in the student housing segment to be recognized under this initiative. 


Swachh Survekshan 2020 is the fifth edition of the annual urban cleanliness survey conducted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India. The inspection was done on six parameters viz. overall cleanliness, waste management techniques, sanitation, maintenance, usage of Swachhta app, basic knowledge on hygiene, availability of personal safety equipment such as caps, gloves, brooms and other similar equipment. 


With an aim to be a part of the “Clean India” initiative, Oxfordcaps enforces Swachh Bharat standards across all its properties in 12 cities. The Company follows eco-friendly methods of garbage segregation ensuring that the chemicals used do not cause any carbon footprint. Water conservation techniques are practiced to minimize wastage. The Company ensures that all housekeeping staff across its facilities are given proper safety gear for cleaning and maintenance so that they do not face any health hazards. 


To enhance the student living experience, Oxfordcaps residences are custom designed and standardized across all its properties. The company offers fully furnished accommodation, along with amenities such as nutritious meals, Wi-Fi services, professional housekeeping, security provisions, transport facilities and access to common spaces such as lounges, games and reading rooms.
