INDORE, June 17: The Indore Development Authority (IDA), a body under Madhya Pradesh government today said that it will construct 5,000 homes for people in lower income group in the next 3 years.
IDA chairman Shankar Lalwani today said,"To fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have kept the target of building 5,000 homes for people in lower income groups in urban areas. Of these, the process to construct 2,000 homes has started couple of years back."
"We are in search of suitable locations to construct rest 3,000 houses. The IDA Board has today given its nod to construct 216 houses for the people in lower income groups," he said.
"Apart from this, in view of the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, IDA will build a road 'MR-4'. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 56.50 crore," Lalwani added.
