DM Gurugram, Amit Khatri, IAS, moving for Study Leave

In a recent development, a 2011 batch IAS officer Amit Khatri, who has been serving as the District Magistrate of Gurugram has moved on for study leave till October 2022 to pursue Masters in Public Administration (Development Practice) from Columbia University New York.

Khatri, a tech-savvy officer, has been instrumental in bringing out concepts as ‘Soch Gurugram’ portal, which is a digital platform seeking ideas from the public to set reforms in the Millennium City besides various other reform initiatives taken under his aegis.

With him opting out for studies abroad, the Chief Secretary Haryana Vijai Vardhan, has announced his replacement, relieving 2009 batch IAS officer Yash Garg of his charges as Municipal Commissioner, Faridabad.
