Omaxe Group, one of India's leading real estate developers, has announced the launch of its latest mega-project, 'The Omaxe State' in Dwarka Sector 19B, New Delhi. This ambitious development, with an investment of over Rs 2500 crore, is set to be India’s first integrated 5-in-1 destination, combining sports, retail, hospitality, food, and culture.
Spanning over 50.4 acres, the project is being developed in partnership with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The Omaxe State aims to bring world-class infrastructure to Delhi, featuring a state-of-the-art ICC and FIFA-standard cricket-cum-football stadium with a seating capacity of over 30,000, alongside an international multi-sports indoor arena for 2,000 spectators.
Inspired by iconic international complexes such as the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (London), Accor Arena (Paris), and Singapore Sports Hub, the project seeks to revolutionise Delhi’s sporting and leisure landscape. This landmark development will bring back large-scale sporting events to the capital, which has not hosted major World Cup or IPL matches since 1987.
The project will feature five distinct districts:
The Sports District – housing the stadiums and sports facilities.
The Shopping District – with India’s first air-conditioned high street retail extending over 4.2 km.
The Hospitality District – featuring a 148-key hotel and invite-only sports club.
The Food District – modelled after London's Covent Garden, with 40+ fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, and a 5-lakh sq. ft. F&B space.
The Social District – designed for large cultural and social events.
Mohit Goel, Managing Director of Omaxe Group, expressed excitement about the transformative potential of the project: “We aim to deliver a world-class experience to Delhiites and bridge gaps in the city's infrastructure. 'The Omaxe State' will be an international venue for sports, shopping, and entertainment."
The project is expected to generate over Rs 4,200 crore in revenue during its lifecycle and will include advanced facilities such as 11 entrances, over 2,200 ECS, and surface parking. Its strategic location near Yashobhoomi (Asia’s largest convention centre), IGI Airport, and Bharat Vandana Park positions it as a prime commercial and entertainment hub. The completion date is set for 2027.
