Maharashtra signs MoU with Korean firm for smart cities

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Korea Land & Housing Corporation (KLHC) of the Republic of Korea.

This MoU is to build a strategic partnership for smart cities, roads and bridges, etc and exchange of knowledge and expertise, state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted.

"I am happy to learn that KLHC intends to work with GoM (Government of Maharashtra) for smartcities, Maharashtra Samruddhi Corridor and some redevelopment projects," Fadnavis said.

The Consul General of Republic of Korea in Mumbai Soungeun Kim, state Ministers Chandrakantdada Patil, Pravin Pote, Madan Yerawar were present on the occasion.
