AP: Now file complaint with police through 'police app'

VIJAYAWADA, June 21: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today launched mobile application 'police app' enabling citizens in the state capital region with the facility to lodge complaint or report about any crime through their cell phones. On the occasion, Naidu said the 'police app' will boost confidence of citizens across the capital region of Vijayawada and will also bridge the gap between police and the public. Users can directly file complaint through the app and it can be also very useful while they are away from any nearby police station, Naidu said. Police Commissioner A B Venkateswara Rao and other officials were also present on the occasion.
