In a continuous endeavour to develop Uttar Pradesh into a trillion-dollar economy and the country's growth engine, the Uttar Pradesh government is working tirelessly to raise the state's citizens' quality of life to global levels. According to the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision to develop world-class civic amenities in Greater Noida and ensure access of the residents to these top-notch facilities, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced the Group Housing Plot Scheme and has invited applications for six different category plots in Sector 22-D.
This process started on 28 September. The reserved price of plots (including PLC) has been fixed between Rs 61.50 crore to Rs 135.3 crore, while the registration amount has been fixed between Rs 6.15 crore to Rs 13.53 crore.
It may be noted that the ‘Group Housing Plot Scheme’ puts developers in an advantageous position, as it is in close proximity to Jewar Airport, the International Film City, Yamuna Expressway, the Medical Park, the Educational Hub, and the Buddha International Circuit.
Those who acquire land through this scheme will have access to a range of facilities and improved connectivity. Through their housing schemes, the people living in the buildings constructed on these plots will get the benefit of various facilities in the future including a world-class project of its kind in India in the form of a Pod Transit System.
This development is poised to not only elevate the living standards of those in the Greater Noida area through world-class civic amenities, but also provide access to top-tier facilities. Furthermore, it is expected to enhance Uttar Pradesh's reputation and pave the way for the development of similar world-class facilities in other cities.
Applicants interested in taking plots in this project can submit their applications till 27 October, 2023, and can login to the official website of YEIDA for more information. The selection of successful applicants will be completed before 21 November, while the selected applicants will have the opportunity to acquire land through an e-auction, which will take place on 21 November itself.
The data on vacant plots related to this scheme has been shared on the website of YEIDA. The information includes plot area, sector, per square meter rate of allocation, and reserved price. There will be an allocation of land for a total of six types of plots in Sector 22-D of Greater Noida, and bidding worth crores for this will take place on 21 November.
Under the new plotting scheme, applications have been invited for the allocation of plots ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 square metres. As per the scheme, plots between GH-01A-1 to GH-1C-2 in Sector 22-D have been designated for the Group Housing Scheme.
The ICICI Bank has joined YEIDA in this venture as an exclusive banking partner and will carry out the banking operations related to the project. It is noteworthy that whether it is an auction of industrial plots or determination through the drawing process, the Yogi government has been ensuring least human interference in order to maintain transparency. Applicants are being selected in a fair and transparent manner in all Industrial Development Authorities including YEIDA.
