Taxi aggregator app Ola today launched its bike taxi service in the city.
With the launch, Jaipur becomes the third city in India to get bikes on the Ola app, after Gurgaon and Faridabad, the company said.
The company plans to onboard more than 500 bikes over the next few months.
Kiran Brahma, Business Head - Jaipur at Ola said, "The pink city is one of the fastest developing cities of Rajasthan. The city also attracts a lot of tourists almost throughout the year, putting extra pressure on the city s traffic scene.
"A category like Ola Bike will help the commuters to navigate through city s congested roads. At the same time, it will enable hundreds of men and women take their first step towards entrepreneurship."
Ola Bikes will be available in Jaipur at Rs 3 per km with Rs 20 as base fare.
