National Digital Architecture launched making Education inclusive, futuristic

Approving another major reform campaign pushing digitization of education and making it more inclusive, futuristic, globally competitive, and accessible across all sections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the National Digital Architecture (N-DEAR). The initiative, which is in line with the flagship Digital India program of the Central government is said to play a crucial role in exterminating inequality in education and leveraging technology for its modernization.

While addressing during the launch of the campaign, PM Modi emphasized how N-DEAR as a government program will be acting as a bridge between various academic activities, similarly as UPI interface revolutionized the BFSI Sector. He further emphasized how tech-based innovations as Audiobooks and others have been improvised in the education sector and are making significant evolution in the domain.

The Prime Minister also launched 'Vidyanjali 2.0' portal which is an initiative to bring together education volunteers, donors, and CSR contributors who work for the development of the school and education domain. PM Modi further commented, “‘Vidyanjali 2.0’ is like a platform for the country’s resolve of ‘Sabka Prayas’ with ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’." He also focussed on how the private sector is contributing to enhancing the quality of education in government schools. 

PM Modi further highlighted how transformations in India's education domain are crucial in making it just not policy-based but also participation-based.

Prime Minister Modi also unveiled the Indian sign language dictionary (audio- and text-embedded sign language video for the hearing impaired, in conformity with the Universal Design of Learning), talking books (audiobooks for the visually impaired), school quality assurance and assessment framework of CBSE, Nishtha teachers’ training program for Nipun Bharat and Vidyanjali portal (for facilitating education volunteers/donors/CSR contributors for school development).
