G Jagdeesha appointed Joint Secretary to Karnataka CM
In a major administrative bureaucratic decision announced by the Government of Karnataka, Udupi Deputy Commissioner, G Jagadeesha has been named the Joint Secretary to Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Jagdeesha a 2005 batch IAS officer is replaced by M Kurma Rao, an IAS officer of 2011 batch, as deputy commissioner of Udupi.
The state government issued this order on Sunday, as per official sources. Jagadeesha has been serving as deputy commissioner of Udupi since 2019 while, Kurma Rao presently serves as Managing Director of Northeastern Karnataka Road Transport Corporation in Kalaburagi.
