Birlasoft inks pact of $240mn Digital Transformation deal with medical device maker Invacare

Bengaluru based Information Technology service provider Birlasoft, inked a pact with the medical device manufacturer, Invacare for its Digital Transformation initiative.

As a part of the multi-year deal worth around $240 million, Birlasoft will provide IT as a service ( ITaaS) to Ohio based Invacare.

The multi-year deal will see the IT services company build a new analytics platform and more Invacare's data center operations to the cloud.

Birlasoft will modernize Invacare systems, make provision for a service desk and provide applications, server, network, and telephony support.

Apart from the product lifecycle management system by Birlasoft, Invacare will also benefit from a new e-commerce portal to market its products, spares and supplies.
